Welcome to Glass Decors. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of glassdecors.in, your enquiries, and your purchase of products or services from us.

By using our website, approving a quotation, paying an advance, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products and Services

We provide glass and related décor products and services, which may include customised glasswork, mirrors, partitions, shower enclosures, railings, installation, repair, and other associated solutions.

The exact specifications, materials, dimensions, finish, price, delivery schedule, installation requirements, and warranty for an order will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, work order, or written confirmation.

3. Website Information

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and current. However, photographs, illustrations, colours, dimensions, specifications, availability, and prices are provided for general guidance and may change without notice.

Colours and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and natural variations in materials. Website images should not be treated as exact samples unless expressly confirmed in writing.

4. Quotations and Orders

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for [number] days from the date of issue.

An order becomes binding when:

1. you approve the quotation or work order;

2. we confirm that we can accept the order; and

3. we receive the required advance payment.

Any change requested after approval may affect the price, materials, and completion schedule. Such changes will apply only after both parties confirm them in writing.

We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, site conditions make the work unsafe or impractical, incorrect information was supplied, or an obvious pricing or specification error occurred. If we cancel after receiving payment, we will refund the amount attributable to work or materials not supplied.

5. Measurements and Customer Approval

Custom glass is manufactured according to approved measurements and specifications. Before production begins, you are responsible for reviewing and approving all relevant details, including dimensions, glass type, thickness, colour, finish, hardware, cut-outs, edge treatment, and opening direction.

Where measurements are supplied by you or by a third party appointed by you, we are not responsible for errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete measurements.

Once customised production has begun, an order generally cannot be changed, cancelled, returned, or exchanged unless the product is defective or applicable law requires otherwise.

6. Pricing and Taxes

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, delivery charges, installation fees, scaffolding, electrical work, civil work, or other additional costs will be shown separately or described in the quotation.

If unforeseen site conditions require additional materials or work, we will inform you and obtain approval before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.

7. Payments

Payment must be made according to the schedule stated in the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production will begin only after receipt of the required advance.

The outstanding balance must be paid at the agreed stage, which may be before dispatch, on delivery, or upon completion of installation.

We may pause production, delivery, or installation if a payment becomes overdue. Any resulting delay will not be treated as a delay caused by Glass Decors.

8. Delivery and Installation

Delivery and completion dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Timelines may be affected by material availability, manufacturing requirements, site readiness, weather, transport disruption, approval delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You must provide:

• safe and unobstructed access to the site;

• accurate site and contact information;

• necessary permissions and approvals;

• suitable electricity, water, storage, and working space where required; and

• completed supporting civil, electrical, plumbing, or structural work.

Additional visits, waiting time, storage, remobilisation, or work caused by an unprepared or inaccessible site may be charged separately.

Risk of accidental damage passes to you upon delivery, except while the product remains under our control during an installation performed by us.

9. Inspection and Reporting Issues

Please inspect products and completed work as soon as reasonably possible. Visible damage, shortages, incorrect items, or installation concerns should be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of delivery or completion, together with photographs and order details.

This reporting period does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Standard, unused products may be eligible for return only if we approve the return in writing and the products are returned in their original condition and packaging.

Custom-made, cut-to-size, etched, drilled, processed, installed, or specially ordered products cannot ordinarily be returned or exchanged merely because of a change of mind.

If an eligible refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method or another mutually agreed method within [number] business days. Reasonable costs already incurred for measurement, design, procurement, fabrication, transport, or installation may be deducted where lawful and previously disclosed.

Nothing in this section excludes remedies available for defective goods, deficient services, or other rights provided by applicable consumer law.

11. Warranty

Any product or workmanship warranty will be described in the quotation, invoice, or warranty document supplied with the order.

Unless expressly included, a warranty does not cover:

• accidental impact, misuse, negligence, or improper cleaning;

• normal wear and tear;

• scratches or damage occurring after handover;

• structural movement, settlement, vibration, or water seepage;

• corrosion or deterioration caused by environmental conditions;

• work altered or repaired by an unauthorised person;

• defects in customer-supplied materials; or

• minor variations inherent in glass, metal, stone, wood, or other materials.

A valid warranty claim may be resolved through inspection, repair, replacement, or another appropriate remedy, subject to applicable law.

12. Safety and Maintenance

Glass products must be used and maintained according to the care and safety instructions we provide. You should not modify, drill, dismantle, overload, or relocate an installed product without professional advice.

You are responsible for keeping children and other occupants away from the work area during installation and for following any temporary safety instructions issued by our team.

13. Intellectual Property

The website and its content—including our name, logo, text, graphics, photographs, designs, and layout—belong to Glass Decors or are used with permission. They may not be copied, modified, reproduced, published, or used commercially without our prior written consent.

You may view and print website content for personal, non-commercial use.

14. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;

• introduce malware or other harmful technology;

• interfere with the website’s operation; or

• copy or collect website content or user information through automated means without permission.

By submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that we may use it to respond, prepare quotations, fulfil orders, arrange delivery or installation, process payments, and provide customer support.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Glass Decors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business, opportunity, or anticipated savings.

Our total liability arising from a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricts any mandatory consumer right.

18. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, strikes, transport disruption, government action, supply shortages, utility failures, epidemics, or civil disturbance.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and resume performance when practicable.

19. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue any remedy available under applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction provided by law, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or our products and services.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when our services, business practices, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not retrospectively alter an accepted order unless required by law or agreed by both parties.

22. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
